Staff Questionnaire:

Miss Longhurst-

·         Simple clear colour scheme, make sure the colour is the same the whole way through

·         Up to date articles and story

·         Not always about the school, include topics about the local area or community

·         Detailed images related to the stories in the magazine

·         A full front page with a sneak peak at stories featured in the magazine

·         Exam results

·         Articles to be written by the students

·         Student art

·         Student achievements inside and outside the school

·         Articles about reading, encourage students to read outside of school (reviews/recommendations)

·         Bright colours, make it look interesting to read

·         Written in standard English but not too formal to make it suitable for all ages

·         Student to get involved to write the articles

·         No celebrity features in a school magazine, not appropriate for younger students

·         Titles on the front instead of articles, look more like a standard magazine to encourage students to read it

·         Professional look to the magazine to appeal to the staff that may be reading it

·         Include events around the school, helps to inform other faculties around the school
